The "Sister Wives" Litter

We answered the call for emergency placement for 2 mom cats with 11 kittens between them. We jokingly call them the Sister Wives. It turned out there are actually 12 kittens and the moms are nursing all of them together. This is going to take a lot of foster care, tons of supplies, and especially, a lot of vet care!

We have 14 spay/neuters in our future, plus dewormers and parasite meds, flea meds, 3-4 vaccines for each, vet checks, etc, etc.

And that's if they stay perfectly healthy - a few came in with goopy eyes already which are requiring eye medication. Plus, an incredible amount of food and litter. Do you know how much 12 kittens and two ravenous moms can eat in a day, lol?? Won't you please help us care for these 2 moms and 12 kittens? Every single dollar is so important to us.

Kittens: Cosmo, Gimlet, Margarita, Martini, Sangria, Swizzle, Julep, Mojito, Mai Tai, Grasshopper, Amaretto, Chardonnay.

3/31/26 Growing Fast!

Update on our “Sister Wives” Mom Cats — Fizzy & Bubbles — and their 12 adorable shared babies!

They are now 6½ weeks old and growing like weeds! These little ones are busy, playful, and full of personality — each kitten starting to show their own unique spark.

They’re doing amazing — using the litter boxes like pros and eating us out of house and home (as growing kittens should!)

Next up: their first big vet visit at Woodland Veterinary Clinic LLC for full checkups and their 1st FVRCP (distemper) vaccines — a very important step to keep them healthy and thriving.
