  • Volunteers at the shelter who answer the phone cannot approve or expedite surrenders, they don't have the authority. Please do not call. 

  • We recommend that you web search for all rescues in your local area and reach out to them. ALL rescues in CT (and elsewhere) are currently struggling with the enormous quantity of abandoned cats & kittens and surrenders by owners. We hate that we have to stop intakes for now, but we have no space, and our finances for supplies and vetting costs are being stretched more than we can support.
