"A Tale of Ten Tails" — a heartwarming series following one very special feline family from rescue all the way to forever homes. You’ll get a behind-the-scenes look at how our foster, volunteers, and medical team work together to raise just one little family who desperately needed us.

It all began when a kindhearted man went above and beyond to rescue a mama cat and her nine newborn kittens from a dangerous work site. After bringing them safely to Whiskers, he sent us this sweet note:

“This is Ryan from earlier with the kittens. I thought of a name for the mama on my drive home — Millie. Our job site is next to Mill Pond in Norwalk, and she was found next to a bunch of Milwaukee tools!”

And just like that, Millie had her name — a brave mama safe in foster care, where she could nurture her babies in peace.
